Eugenio Cornejo
Eugenio Cornejo, was born in Santiago de Chile in 1940. He studied Biology and then Education in Fine Arts in the University of Chile. For the time of the coup d'etat he was an art teacher in the Liceo Manuel de Salas, an experimental school in Santiago de Chile.Before that he was teaching in the University of Osorno in the South. When the dictatorship took power soon after he was deteined by the police forces. He desapeared for a couple of week, and finally released from the Estadio Nacional, a massive imporvised concentration camp based in the biggest footbal stadium of the city. A month later he left his country for a complicated exile: Argentina 1974-1976. Plovdiv, Bulgaria 1976-1977. 1978-1980 Mons, Bélgium. 1980-2002 Puebla, México. 2002 he died in Puebla, México.
